Wheatland is an American city in the state of Wyoming. It is in Platte County where it is the county seat. The city has about 3,588 people. Steamboat, the bucking horse on the license plate for the state of Wyoming and the logo for the athletics team of the University of Wyoming, was stabled in a barn in Wheatland.
