Pmlineditor (talkchangese-mailblocksprotectionsdeletionsmovesright changes)

Okay, I'll try to keep this as short as possible. I know there isn't a significant interest in ER nowadays, however I'd like to get input from the community about what they think of me as an editor and an admin. I have about 7.8k edits here, according to X!'s tool, since registering at around May last year. In this time, I have written 3 VGAs, helped in two more, 2 GAs (again, helped in 2) and successfully nominated around 44 DYKs. I also have created 124 articles and 64 redirects. I passed an RfA in September, and have made around 3k logged actions during that time, including over 2k deletions. My main focus here is content work and anti-vandalism, though I oft participate in discussions at Simple Talk and the administrators' noticeboard. Thank you for your reviews. • O, I think you're is quite nice, and extremely kind to me. You're very smart, too, and a great admin! But I think you're a little bit cold... Not to be offensive, or annoying, but perhaps it would help if you be more friendly, and warm to other users (even though you are is quite civil and good to me!). But of course, you've gotten much better these days, about from after you erased the "I iz serious bizness" picture from your user page and user talk page. I disliked it, and it was one of the main reasons why I didn't want to be adopted by you--but now, after being adopted, I've found out that you are a wholly different, wonderful user! I really think there's no other improvements you need to do--you're actually quite nice, good and quick to alot of vandals, and articles, ect. ect. I can't find any other bad parts you need to improve, you're so humane and gracious! Belle (talk) 07:08, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Everything looks great, Pmlineditor! I am very pleased with your constant and helpful edits on Simple English, you are certainly very important here. The only thing I can think of is, maybe you should increase your edit percentage on articles? (On second thought, don't change the mainspace percentage: you do a much-needed job on many other parts of Wikipedia). Otherwise than that, I have little to say, but that I admire and esteem you as a fine user! God bless, Classical Esther 07:17, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Don't change a thing! You are perfect just as you are! fr33kman 07:21, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • I fully agree with Fr33kman. There's no need to change anything. You do a really good work around here (and also on the other wikis I work with you). Keep up your good work here! Best -Barras talk 23:10, 12 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • In the words of someone, you should "keep on keeping on". You're doing a good job. The Rambling Man (talk) 00:00, 14 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • This will be rather short, but there's actually nothing that you do as both an editor (editer :p) that I disagree with. Whenever I'm faced with a difficult admin decision, I try to think of what you would do and then do the same. I greatly admire and respect your work here. Lauryn 17:17, 15 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • You need more edits. We should get into a content competition. :) Ottava Rima (talk) 17:29, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • I was surprised when I looked back over what you have done, how little time you have been here. I can not think of anything that you need to do, or should be doing that you have not already done. A great editor. --Peterdownunder (talk) 08:16, 5 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • I honestly can't think of any are you need to improve in. Since I'm quite new to Simple, I can't really comment much on policies and stuff, but it looks like you're doing good work. Keep it up! Airplaneman talk 20:31, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
I'm quite pleased with the work I put in to promote the 3 VGAs that I wrote; namely SPL, Jupiter and Billy Graham and 2 GAs, India and Earth, though certainly different users helped me with them. I am also pleased with the work I put in to help Simple Wikipedia's DYK run; as one may see, I have over 550 edits to the DYK related pages in this wiki.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
Well, about conflicts over /my/ editing, I can remember this, though it was some time back. Another one was the Wijerd Jelckama thing (for non-admins, I basically tagged it as CSD A3 and reverted when the user who created the article reverted me); although /I/ personally feel that what I did was correct and one revert isn't an edit war. The last situation that have caused me some amount of stress is the BG7 dispute (the first time). This is what I can think of, at least for now.
