Windward Islands
subgroup of islands (according to their English definition), comprising the generally larger islands of the southern part of the Windward Islands (according to their French definition) in the Lesser Antilles bordering the East of the Caribbean sea
The Windward Islands are the southern islands of the Lesser Antilles in the West Indies. They are south of the Leeward Islands.

Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago are not part of the Windward Islands.
