The 2020 Formula One World Championship was the 71st season of the Formula One World Championship. The motor racing championship is the highest class of competition for open-wheel racing cars.
The 2020 season was delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, and started in Austria on 5 July and finished in Abu Dhabi on 13 December.
