Awards change

The Venezuelan group has been given many awards, such as the “Mara de Oro” Award, the Meridiano de Oro Award, and the “Estrella de Oro” (given in New York as Revelation Orchestra of the Year). In 1996 and 1997, the group was given the Latin A.C.E Award by the Asociación de Cronistas de Espectáculos de Nueva York. The group was nominated for Lo Nuestro Award and for the Golden Globe in the category of Salsa.

After almost 7 years, Adolescentes Orquesta returned with their fourth production, Ahora más que nunca. It has a variety of rhythms and lyrics. Along with the usual salsa, it includes a bachata which led the Embajadores de la Salsa in Venezuela to the peak of popularity.[4] Currently, Adolescentes Orquesta is preparing its fifth production.[5]
