Battle of Harir
The Battle of Harir occurred in 1834 during the rule of Muhammad Pasha of Rawanduz (also known as Mirê Kor) in Southern Kurdistan. The battle was part of his expansion efforts against the Ottoman Empire.

The Battle
changeIn 1834, Muhammad Pasha defeated an Ottoman force sent to suppress his growing influence. Following this victory, he pushed into Iranian territory and attempted to build alliances with Kurdish tribes across the border, further exacerbating tensions with both the Ottoman and Iranian authorities
