Plot change

Chef believes Alannis Morisette has stolen a song he wrote, "Stinky Britches." He calls the record company and asks them to put his name on the song. But then the record company sues Chef for harassment. They hire Johnnie Cochran as their lawyer. Cochran uses his "Chewbacca defense." That means he talks to the jury about the Star Wars character Chewbacca. This confuses them, and Cochran wins. The judge says Chef must pay a lot of money or else go to prison.

Stan Marsh, Kyle Bravlofski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick try to help Chef by selling candy bars. Instead, they end up talking to famous musicians whom Chef has helped in the past. Elton John says Chef helped him make better lyrics for his songs. Ozzy Ozbourne says Chef inspired his bat performance.

Johnny Cochran sees how much people love Chef and agrees to be Chef's lawyer. He uses the Chewbacca defense again and he wins. The record company puts Chef's name on the song.

Album change

The crew made an album Chef Aid: The South Park Album. It has full versions of the songs made for the episode. Not all of the songs were in the episode.[2]
