Corporate governance

mechanisms, processes and relations by which corporations are controlled and operated

Corporate governance describes how a corporation is directed. Corporate governance is related to but different from management. People responsible for corporate governance are known as board of directors.[1]

Corporate governance also provides the structure through which the objectives of the company are set, and the means of attaining those objectives and monitoring performance are changed.[2]
