Ernesto Zedillo Ponce de León, GColIH[1] (Spanish pronunciation: [erˈnesto seˈðiʝo]; born 27 December 1951) is a Mexican economist and politician. He was President of Mexico from 1 December 1994 to 30 November 2000. He was the last Mexican president from the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), a 71 year streak.
