Deutsch: Das Wappen wurde der Gemeinde zuletzt am 29. August 1991 durch Erlass der Exekutive der Deutschsprachigen Gemeinschaft verliehen. Das Wappen zeigt im Schildhaupt die Merletten aus dem Wappen der Adelsfamilie Eynatten. Die Mauer symbolisiert die Raerener Burg. Der Raerener Krug steht für das Raerener Steinzeug, welches heute als europäisches Kulturerbe gilt.
English: The arms were officially granted on August 29, 1991. The martlets in the chief are derived from the arms of the Lords of Eynatten. The wall stands for die Raeren castle. The jug symbolizes the famous pottery in municipality.
