Berlise (Aisne, France) -
L'église fortifiée, entourée de son cimetière, domine le paysage.
On remarque d'anciennes tombes décorées de structures en fer forgé. Ces grilles, ces crucifix, ces petits toits, fort rouillés, parfois en déséquilibre, sont typiques d'une "mode" très en vogue dans la deuxième moitié du 19ème siècle. Il est dommage qu'ici comme ailleurs elles ne soient pas entretenues, comme simples témoins du patrimoine relatif à un art funéraire en péril.


Au centre, par exemple, le petit toit à 2 pans était à l'origine équipé de vitres sur chaque versant.
