English: The deathroom below the crematorium. It is estimated around 1,100 people died in this room, many of them Soviet POWs. The hooks from which victims were hanged remain on the walls. The woman is looking in the direction of the elevator that was used to lift corpses upstairs to the ovens for cremation. A "body chute" for victims' remains to be slid down from outside the building is not visible, being behind the cameraman.
