English: Building 170, a former electrical substation, located behind the United States Department of Transportation headquarters in Washington, D.C. The renovated building is designated as a contributing property to the Washington Navy Yard Annex Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008. The open space (foreground) beside Building 170 is now known as Tingey Plaza.
