Deutsch: Das Wappen vereinigt die drei Spitzen aus dem Wappen der Herren von Schönborn, die den Ort 1665 ankauften und dort ein Schloss errichteten, mit dem Symbol des Reichsforstes der Dreieich, zu dem der Ort gehörte.

English: The division and red and silver colours were taken from the arms of the Lords of Schönborn, who acquired the village in 1661. The oak in base is symbolizing the fact that the village was part of the Imperial Forest of Dreieich (= three oaks).
