Escudo español cuadrilongo, rodeado en sus dos ángulos inferiores y terminados en punta en medio de la base, cuartelado en cruz; primero y cuarto en campo de gules / sinople con guantes apalmados, símbolo etimológico de Macul, del quechua “dar la mano derecha, forma de juramento”, segundo y tercero en campo de azur con tres flores de lis de oro dispuestas en triángulo, que son las primitivas armas de los Jofré, cuyo descendiente, don Juan Jofré, fuera el primer propietario y encomendero hispano de la zona. Bordada de azul con ocho veneras de oro en perlas, tomadas del blazón metropolitano, por pertenecer Macul a la gran ciudad de Santiago. Timbre: la Corona Mural de oro de las Municipalidades de Chile. Municipalidad de Macul.
English: Coat of arms of Macul, Chile
Spanish shield quadrilateral, surrounded in its two lower angles and ending in point in the middle of the base, party per cross; first and fourth on a field of gules with palmed gloves, etymological symbol of Macul, from the Quechua "to give the right hand, form of oath", second and third on a field of azure with three golden fleurs-de-lis arranged in a triangle, which are the primitive arms of the Jofré family, whose descendant, Don Juan Jofré, was the first Hispanic owner and encomendero of the area. Embroidered in azure with eight scallops in Or, taken from the metropolitan blazon, because Macul belongs to the greater city of Santiago. Crown: mural crown in Or, belonging to the Municipalities of Chile.
