Español: Escudo del departamento del Cauca, en Colombia:[1]
Primer cuartel, en campo de gules, dos espadas con la punta hacia arriba en señal de victoria y una corona de roble con sus bellotas de oro. Segundo cuartel, en campo de sínople una lira de oro cruzada con una antorcha. Tercer cuartel, en cielo azul se perfila el Puracé con nieves eternas y una columna de humo que se eleva, y al pie, en ondas de azul y plata, el mar. Cuarto cuartel, de plata un cuerno de la abundancia con los frutos de la región, tales como café, trigo, cacao, etc, en su color; Como complemento, colocada detrás del escudo en forma usual dentro de la heráldica, la Cruz de Jerusalén, emblema de la cristiandad, que también lleva el escudo de Popayán.
