Català: Escut de Castelló de la Plana (la Plana Alta, País Valencià): «Un losange [cairó] d'or amb quatre pals de gules, i damunt del tot, un castell d'argent, torrejat de tres torretes i aclarit de gules. (..) Per timbre “coronel espanyol”, (..) que es un cèrcol enriquit de pedres precioses, realçat de vuit florons i fulles d'acant (però no més hi veiem cinc) interpolades de vuit perles, una en cada buit» (Ordre de 19 d'agost de 1939)
Español: Escudo de Castelló de la Plana (Castellón, España): «Un losange de oro con cuatro palos de gules, y sobre el todo, un castillo de plata, donjonado de tres torrecillas y aclarado de gules.
