Summary

Description	English: James Lindsay Almond, Jr. circa 1945 to 1949. He was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from 1945 to 1949, Attorney General of Virginia from 1949 to 1958. He argued the state's case before the Supreme Court in Brown v. Board of Education. He was Governor of Virginia from 1958 to 1962. He was appointed to the United States Court of Customs and Patent Appeals in 1963, and reassigned to the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit as a senior judge in 1982.
