Портрет написан И.Я.Вишняковым с соблюдением всех канонов парадного портрета – большой формат, монументальная статичная композиция, последовательное и тщательное изображение всех царских регалий, акцентирование высокого социального статуса модели. Художественные вкусы середины XVIII столетия и, в частности, формирующийся в русском искусстве стиль рококо оказали заметное влияние на устоявшиеся формы императорского портрета. Фигура и жест Елизаветы Петровны претендуют на легкость и изящество. В моду входит менее громоздкий и тяжелый, чем в начале столетия, наряд. На лице императрицы кокетливая улыбка, говорящая о добродушии и веселом нраве "любящей смехи и забавы" Елизаветы. |
