Franz Feldinger

Austrian association football player (1928-2009)

Franz Feldinger (22 August 1928 – 16 March 2009) was an Austrian footballer.[1] He played for SV Austria Salzburg and in the men's tournament at the 1952 Summer Olympics.[2]

Career change

Feldinger played all his matches for SV Austria Salzburg. Between 1945 and 1963 he played 687 matches. [3] After his active career he became coach of Austria Salzburg. He also worked as a teacher.

At the Summer Olympics 1952 in Helsinki he played two matches versus Finland and Sweden. In 1953, Austria Salzburg reached the Bundesliga for the first time. He also played 46 matches for the football team of Salzburg.
