Gunner Alan Lindbloom
Gunner Alan Lindbloom is an American author, entrepreneur, and former convict who gained recognition after his release from prison in 2016.[1] He is best known for his novels, particularly the To Be A King series, which explores themes related to organized crime.[2]
Lindbloom was a career criminal known as "The Boogeyman''.[3] In 2003, at age 29, he was convicted of extortion, bank robbery, and several other crimes.[4] He would ultimately spend 13.3 years in prison.[5] During his time in prison, he wrote nine novels, drawing on his personal experiences as a gangster.[6] Upon his release in 2016, Lindbloom began publishing his work, quickly gaining attention for his To Be A King series, which is set in the world of a fictional Detroit Mafia family.[7]
Also in prison, Lindbloom met his future wife, a New York publishing executive who discovered sample chapters of his book on the internet. The two fell in love through letters and she waited 7 years for his release. Upon his release in 2016, Lindbloom married her and began publishing his written works.[7]
In 2017, Lindbloom launched “OUR THING” Apparel. The brand got endorsements from WWE Hall of Famer Rob Van Dam and Armand Assante.[8]
