Hassan Sheikh Mohamud

President of Somalia; PDP Chairman; educator; civic, academic, and political activist

Hassan Sheikh Mohamud (Somali: Xasan Sheekh Maxamuud, Arabic: حسن شيخ محمود; born 29 November 1955) is a Somali politician who currently is the President of Somalia since 2022.[1] He was president before from 2012 until 2017. He is the founder and current chairman the Union for Peace and Development Party.[2]
