Honeylet Avanceña

Filipina businesswoman and former nurse

Cielito "Honeylet" Salvador Avanceña (born February 17, 1970[2]) is a Filipina businesswoman. She is best known for being the current partner of former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte.[3] Avanceña and Duterte have been in a relationship since at least 1996 and have a daughter named Veronica.

She was photographed with Duterte and the Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad and his wife in 2019.

Shortly after the inauguration of his husband as president, Avanceña was not named as First Lady. Her step-daughter Sara was proposed to fulfill the role instead[4] who did not accept the offer.[5][6] Avanceña would carry out the roles usually done by the First Lady.[7]
