iPhone 13 is the 15th generation of the iPhone, released on September 24, 2021. The iPhone 13 was announced at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference on September 14, 2021.[4] Tim Cook introduced the iPhone 13 with the new Apple A15 chip and other new features, among the release of IOS 15.[4]

iPhone 13 is almost identical to iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, with the exception of a smaller notch, which were released in October 2020. Later, Apple announced the iPhone 13 Pro and the iPhone 13 Pro Max,  which were to be released on September 24, 2021.[4]

On August 2, 2021, Apple introduced that the new generation of iPhone is the iPhone 13.

iPhone 13 and 13 mini have a 6.1-inch (15 cm) and a 5.4-inch (14 cm) screen.[5] They have a smaller notch than the iPhone 12.

There is a new CPU in the iPhone 13. It's called the Apple A15 Bionic.[5]

The iPhone 13 has 2 cameras arranged diagonally.[5]

In June 2021, a survey conducted by Sellcell found that 18.3% of respondents would refuse to buy a new phone if it carried the name “iPhone 13”, because they consider 13 to be an unlucky number in superstition.[6]
