Janusz Głowacki

Janusz Andrzej Głowacki (13 September 1938 – 19 August 2017) was a Polish-American playwright, essayist and screenwriter. He was born in Poznań, Poland.
His best known works include Antigone in New York, Fortinbras Gets Drunk, The Fourth Sister, and Hunting Cockroaches. He has won many awards such as the Guggenheim Fellowship, the Jurzykowski Prize, the Tony Cox Award and the Czesław Miłosz Award.
Głowacki died on 19 August 2017 in New York City, New York at the age of 78.[1]
