Larry J. Hopkins

Larry Jones Hopkins (October 25, 1933 – November 15, 2021) was an American politician. He represented Kentucky's 6th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives from 1979 to 1993. He was the Republican nominee for Governor of Kentucky in 1991 and lost to Brereton C. Jones.[1] He was born in Detroit, Michigan. His son was actor Josh Hopkins.

Hopkins died on November 15, 2021 in Lexington, Kentucky at the age of 88.[2]
