Leonard Maltin
American film critic, writer, and historian
Leonard Maltin (born December 18, 1950) is an American movie critic and historian. He wrote several books on cinema and celebrity biographies. He is known for creating the Walt Disney Treasures collections which is made up of classic Disney cartoons.
He was raised in Teaneck, New Jersey. He studied at Teaneck High School and at New York University. He was married to Alice Tlusty since 1975. They have one daughter.
In July 2018, Maltin announced that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in early 2015.[1]
