Patrick Achi

Prime Minister of Ivory Coast

Patrick Achi (born 17 November 1955) is an Ivorian politician. He is a member of the Parti démocratique de Côte d'Ivoire.[1]

Between 2010 and 2017, Achi was Minister of Economic Infrastructure for the Cote d'Ivoire government.[2]

On 16 April 2020, Achi announced that he had tested positive for COVID-19 and was self-isolating until further notice.[3]

Achi was appointed acting prime minister on 8 March 2021 after the death of Prime Minister Hamed Bakayoko.[4]

In October 2021, his name was mentioned in the Pandora Papers. He controlled at least until 2006 Allstar Consultancy Services Limited, an offshore company located in the Bahamas and created in 1998 through a nominee, while Achi was government commissioner with the Ivorian Electricity Company. (CIE) and technical advisor to the Minister of Energy.
