Pecorino Romano

Pecorino Romano is a type of Pecorino cheese. It is mostly made in the Italian state of Lazio (Rome), but it is also made in some bordering municipalities. It is aged for about 5 months.[1] This hard and crumbly cheese similar to Parmigiano-Reggiano is usually used for grating. It is one of the most well known pecorino cheeses.
