Rat Movie: Mystery of the Mayan Treasure is a 2014 animated comedy short web film written, directed, and animated by YouTuber Jeremy Harrington also known by his username jerma985.[1] The movie follows two adventurers, Dick Dastardly (Jeremy Harrington ) and Trench Coat Man (Boo), as they look for the titular mayan treasure.

Jerma985 (Jeremy Harrington (1937 - 2023)) supposedly had too much to smoke one night late July and while in a Discord call with his friends (Nick, Rafael, Isabel and Isabella [not to be confused with Isabel no.1]), he came up with a wonderful idea to make a short film and trying to sell it to random retailers. There, the idea of "Rat Movie: Mystery of the Mayan Treasure" was born.
Jerma985 (Jeremy Harrington) worked tirelessly to create the film as poorly and cheaply as possible, as he was just a broke college who wanted that "zaza"[2] while being a student with finals coming up. (source: me)
The movie was entirely animated with the 3D Movie Maker software, as that is all he could afford as a broke college student.
