Richard Belzer
American actor and comedian
Richard Jay Belzer (born August 4, 1944)[1] is an American stand-up comedian, conspiracy author,[2] and actor. He is best known for his role as John Munch,[3] whom he has portrayed as a regular cast member on the NBC police drama series Homicide: Life on the Street[4] and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

Belzer believes there was a conspiracy to assassinate President John F. Kennedy[5] and has written four books discussing conspiracy theories.
Belzer is a cousin of actor Henry Winkler.[6]
