Roberto Orci

American screenwriter producer

Roberto Gaston Orcí (July 20, 1973 – February 25, 2025) was a Mexican-American movie and television screenwriter and producer. He was known for his works with Alex Kurtzman and J. J. Abrams. With Abrams, Orci created the series Fringe. He was known for writing the screenplays of Mission: Impossible III and both Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness.

Orci died from kidney disease at his home in Los Angeles, California on February 25, 2025, at the age of 51.[1]
