Schwarzenberg (German pronunciation: [ʃvaɐ̯t͡sənbɛɐ̯k]) is a town in the rural district of Erzgebirgskreis in Saxony, Germany. The town was built in the 12th century. It is located about 15 km southeast of Aue, and 35 km southwest of Chemnitz.
