Neutrality
changeI have marked this as lacking a neutral point of view as it does not mention the cause of death officially stated by Belarusian authorities and portrays what other protesters said was his cause of death as fact, even though we can’t reasonably state that he was shot by police as a fact. --IWI (talk) 10:20, 18 December 2020 (UTC)
- Please read thoroughly this[1]. Basically, it is an Associated Press report (refs #2, #3 in the article). A long explanation could be added into the article too. I just wanted too keep it short, simple.
The wife of Alexander Taraikovsky claims that during the identification of the body, she did not see any wounds that would indicate the detonation of an explosive device. According to the official report, Alexander died of massive blood loss as a result of an open chest wound.[2]
Later, journalists found a video in which Taraikovsky stands alone with his hands up in front of the armed security forces, and then falls. No explosions are visible near him. The Conflict Intelligence Team, an independent investigative group, came to the conclusion that special units of the Belarusian security forces[3] may be involved in the death of Taraikovsky. On September 4, another video was released from the side of the cinema "Aurora". It shows that Alexander Taraikovsky was shot twice and after the last shot a large blood stain appears on his T-shirt in the chest area, after which he immediately falls to the ground.[4]
On August 16, Interior Minister Yuri Karaev admitted that Taraikovsky could have been killed by rubber bullet.[5] -- pr12402, 18 December 2020
- We're not here to draw conclusions from videos. Clearly you have a bias and I would suggest you avoid editing areas you are invovlved in or have a strong opinion of. --IWI (talk) 21:25, 19 December 2020 (UTC)
Name
changeI disagree with the renaming of the page recently made by ImprovedWikiImprovment, RfD did't mention/agree (upon) that. There is no Wikipedia:Requested moves or so here, plus the Simple English Wikipedia is not a subordinate of other Wikipedias. On top of that, it is presented into article, that this wasn't a simple "death," rather a "killing". See also Killing of George Floyd. -- pr12402, 17 February 2021
