On June 14, 2019, Drake posted on social media and confirmed the ep's title, album art, and the release date of the next day. The album was announced in celebration of the Toronto Raptors winning the NBA Championship the day before.[2]
The album's cover art is an image of the Larry O'Brien Trophy on a black background with a spotlight over it and Drake's signature in red ink.[3]
The album features the singles "Omertà" and "Money in the Grave". "Omertà" would reach #35 on the Billboard Hot 100 and "Money in the Grave" would reach #7 on the Hot 100.[4] "Money in the Grave" would be certified 6× Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).[5]
