The Harvey Girls is a 1946 American romantic musical movie directed by George Sidney and was based on the 1942 novel of the same name by Samuel Hopkins Adams. It stars Judy Garland, John Hodiak, Ray Bolger, Angela Lansbury, Preston Foster, Chill Wills, Virginia O'Brien, Kenny Baker, Marjorie Main, Cyd Charisse and was distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. It was nominated for 2 Oscars and won an Academy Award in 1947.
