Tropical Storm Danielle was a strong tropical storm. It landed in Virginia in the 1992 Atlantic hurricane season. This was the 4th storm of that hurricane season. Danielle and Hurricane Andrew were the only 2 tropical cyclones that landed in the United States. The storm formed from a low pressure area on September 18. It started by the coast of North Carolina. The system became a tropical storm very quickly. After forming, the storm moved west to the land. Tropical Storm Danielle had wind speeds of 65 mph (105 km/h) winds. The storm then went to the Delmarva Peninsula. Danielle then dissipated over land.

The storm had little amount of rain. There was also not much wind. However, the storm and another high pressure area caused high tides and strong waves. This caused some beach erosion damage on the coast. The waves killed two people in New Jersey from a boat sinking. It also destroyed three houses in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
