Dame Lesley Lawson DBE (born Lesley Hornby 19 September 1949, in London, England) is an English actress, fashion model and singer, known professionally as Twiggy.[1] Her childhood nickname Twiggy came from her thin legs.[2] In the 1960s, when she first became famous she weighed only 6.5 stone (91 lb).[2]

As an actress, she starred in The Boy Friend, and had featured roles in The Blues Brothers and Young Charlie Chaplin. She recently appeared as herself, on America's Next Top Model, as one of the judges.
