Typhoon Sarah (1979)
The monsoon trough spawned a disturbance in the eastern Vietnamese sea on September 30 which developed into tropical depression Sisang on October 1st, it drifted eastward into Luzon and looped to the southwest, where it strengthened into a tropical storm with the JTWC naming the storm Sarah on October 4th.
