I have a question

What is the template asking for speedy deletion? — This unsigned comment was added by Boredsohere (talk • changes) on 22:18, 3 June 2011 (UTC).Reply

The template is {{QD}} - it's uses can be found at Wikipedia:Deletion policy. -Avicennasis @ 22:58, 3 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

Flooding

When you are doing rapid repetitive changes... we have a userright called the flood flag we can issue you while you do that kind of work to keep your changes hidden from the recent changes. If you need it, let us know. Best, Jon@talk:~$ 00:50, 10 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

*sigh* ... I know - it's just that some editors seem to prefer this kind of change to be visible. I can't make everyone happy, tho. (If you don't mind, I'd rather get these done under flood flag - there's a lot.) -Avicennasis @ 00:54, 10 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
heh... I'm sorry. Please then disregard my above. Your work being in the new changes is fine ;) and thank you for doing it. With kind regards, Jon@talk:~$ 00:58, 10 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
No prob. :-) I think I'll try a state or two a day, to try and spread it out a little and help keep RC somewhat less cluttered. -Avicennasis @ 01:05, 10 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Could you at least mark your changes as minor so I can filter them? It's very hard patrolling actual changes and vandalism when they keep falling off the recent changes page.... --–Mûĸĸâĸûĸâĸû (blah?) 01:36, 10 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Perhaps you should check your settings - my changes are marked as minor. -Avicennasis @ 02:06, 10 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
*facepalms* Right. Sorry. I've been at this too long. Carry on. --–Mûĸĸâĸûĸâĸû (blah?) 02:22, 10 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Australian Fossil Mammal Sites (Riversleigh/Naracoorte)

I have reverted your change here.

It is difficult to guess what level of detail is needed in explaining the reasons for this change.

  • Please re-visit the article and the navbox on this page, including
"The UNESCO listing is for two separate areas where fossils from the Cenozoic period have been found. Riversleigh is in the north west corner of Queensland and Naracoorte is in the south east corner of South Australia. The Riversleigh site is part of the Lawn Hill National Park."
"... this version of :en:Riversleigh and :en:Naracoorte Caves National Park."

Perhaps a closer look may help you understand why this tag is misplaced in this specific instance? --Horeki (talk) 22:37, 16 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

It's not a disambig page - just because it doesn't have a match on EnWp, we shouldn't rule out other wikis. It shouldn't be a concern now, anyways, as the page has an interwiki now.   -Avicennasis @ 02:53, 17 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Patrolling

Hi, Avicennasis. I noticed that you've been doing some patrolling lately. I have some concerns about some of the things you patrolled. I haven't checked everything, but here are some examples:

If you have any doubt about a page, you can leave it for others to patrol. Feel free to let me know if you have questions about any of this. Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 08:40, 6 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Forgive me. None of this is listed on Wikipedia:Patrollers as requirements for marking a page as patrolled. I'm not sure if it's mentioned elsewhere. But either way, I'll just leave patrolling to others. Thanks. -Avicennasis @ 09:41, 6 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
You're right, that page doesn't explain what's expected when you patrol, just who gets to do it. I'll look into writing something about what to look for. In the meantime, I've added a link to the enwiki page that has information about it. --Auntof6 (talk) 10:06, 6 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
