Welcome change

Hello, Hmwith, and welcome to the Simple English Wikipedia! I hope you will be happy helping here. You should begin by reading these pages: Wikipedia:Useful, Help:Contents, Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines, and how to write Simple English articles. If you want some ideas of which pages to work on, read Wikipedia:Requested articles or the list of wanted pages.

Even though it is a good idea to research an article (like looking at the discussion page) before making large changes, please be bold and try! Any changes you make that are not perfect can be fixed later. We are also working most on core articles and the most common topics until this Wikipedia grows.

If you want to ask a question or talk with other members, you can visit our version of the "village pump" at Wikipedia:Simple talk. Administrators on Wikipedia can also help you with more difficult problems. You can also ask me for help. The best way to do that is to leave a message on my talk page. You should always sign your messages on Talk pages by typing "~~~~" (four tildes) at the end of your words.

If you would like to test Wikipedia, please use the sandbox. Please do not test Wikipedia by editing its articles.

Good luck and happy editing!--Cometstyles 19:29, 2 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

New articles change

Hey there, Hmwith! Here are a few good ideas that you can use to help in the making of articles that you might do in the future:

  • If the article that you created is under 1,000 bytes, please add the {{stub}} template into the article near the end (below the Other websites, but above the interwikis (detailed below)). This will let other editors know that it is a short article that needs to be made bigger.
  • If you have no idea what categories an article that you create goes under, please include the {{uncat}} template to the article. This will let other editors know that you need help categorizing an article appropriately.
  • Please remember to include interwikis at the bottom of an article. This will enable users to go between the many different Wikipedias that are in existence to check information and possibly add new information to the article here. It's mostly a convenience thing.

Thanks for reading this long message, and happy editing here on Simple English Wikipedia! Razorflame 00:45, 30 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

External links change

Here at the Simple English Wikipedia, we decided a while ago to use Other websites instead of External links. Can you please remember to do this in the future? Thanks, Razorflame 20:54, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the message. I am a creature of habit, and I somehow didn't even think about it. I won't do it in the future. Thanks again! нмŵוτнτ 20:56, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
I was just letting you know about this factoid :) Razorflame 20:58, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

AfD causes ceased to exist change

Please modify your vote in accord to current changes to "keep" status, because I already removed all causes of your objections from both PIE articles nominated to deletion. For proof look here: Schleicher's fable, The king and the god. Both articles no longer are copied, they are now heavily reworded to be different from main English wiki. CBMIBM (talk) 10:57, 1 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

With the article in its current condition, I still stand by my opinion. нмŵוτнτ 17:24, 1 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
I changed condition of article content by adding context, as Tygrrr adviced me, thus please review your vote. CBMIBM (talk) 18:33, 1 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Request change

Hi there, Hmwith. I would like to ask if you would give me any barnstars you might give me in the future on my talk page and not affix them directly onto my userpage in the future. This time, I don't mind, but could use please use my talk page for this in the future? All you have to do is make a new section and title it Barnstar(s) and I will thank you for it and will put it onto my userpage. Thanks for reading this long message, and I hope we can work together in the future! Thanks, Razorflame 20:07, 1 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Some people prefer it one on the talk page, and others prefer it right onto their pages. I guessed, figuring that I had a 50/50 chance of getting it right. Your welcome, нмŵוτнτ 21:08, 1 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for giving me the barnstar :) I would prefer them on my talk page, so that I can move them over to my userpage at my own leisure :) Razorflame 21:09, 1 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
No worries. Now, I know your preference. нмŵוτнτ 21:56, 1 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Userpage change

I added a space between raised and speaking as there was no space between them when there should've been. Razorflame 20:27, 4 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Oops, thank you for checking that. нмŵוτнτ 20:38, 4 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
Not a problem. Razorflame 20:39, 4 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Friends change

I've added you to my list of friends here on the Simple English Wikipedia. You have proven to be a true friend to me, and you have also proven to be a good user to this Wikipedia. I fully trust you and I hope that you can do the same for me in the future. Thanks, Razorflame 20:14, 15 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Why, thank you. I am flattered by this, and I take it as motivation to continue to help out here. Have a great day! нмŵוτнτ 00:30, 17 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I miss you change

Where you at? I've missed your editing here over the past 2 months greatly! Hope you come back soon :) Razorflame 20:07, 7 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Haha, I've been really busy & editing mostly the English Wikipedia lately. I got out of the habit of coming here. I need to get back to work! нмŵוτнτ 21:48, 12 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
Can you confirm your email here? Razorflame 21:49, 12 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
I just fixed it. I had changed my email to user an older one I had, & it had been inactivated due to lack of activity. I got it working again, however. нмŵוτнτ 21:51, 12 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
I mean, can you confirm your email on the Simple English Wikipedia? I cannot get the English Wikipedia to send me a freaking confirmation code for my email account over there, so I have to send it to you from here, but your account says that you don't have a validated email here. Can you validate it here? Cheers, Razorflame 21:54, 12 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
Ahh, my mistake. Forgot to do that here. Got it. =) нмŵוτнτ 21:55, 12 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
Let me know when you got it confirmed. Cheers, Razorflame 21:56, 12 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
It's confirmed. нмŵוτнτ 21:59, 12 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
Just tried to send you an email, it didn't work. It says that it's still unconfirmed. Razorflame 22:00, 12 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
Oops, I forgot to check the enable email box. I'm everywhere today. It should be okay now. нмŵוτнτ 22:05, 12 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Email sent. Razorflame 22:10, 12 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Razorflame, I'm sorry, but I cannot support at this time. I can elaborate further if you'd like. нмŵוτнτ 22:53, 12 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
I'll send you an email. Razorflame 22:53, 12 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
Email sent...Razorflame 22:59, 12 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hey change

Fancy meeting you here...! Always a little odd to bump into folks from en-wiki... Anyway, just thought I'd drop you a line to say simple-hi! The Rambling Man (talk) 14:52, 16 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, hello there. So... BRC is slowly taking over this Wikipedia, as well? Nice. нмŵוτнτ 19:38, 23 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
I'm not sure that simple-wiki is ready for the BRC yet...! The Rambling Man (talk) 06:51, 24 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Canvassing change

Hi there. I would just like to say that I am sorry that I canvassed you in my last RfA. I was panicking because I really wanted it to pass real bad, but instead, I just started making bad decisions and that greatly affected the outcome of it and it also made me regret this decision. I wish I hadn't done this, but when I get real excited, I tend not to think or make rational decisions, and that was just one example of that. Hope we don't have any hard feelings? Cheers, Razorflame 19:50, 23 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Oh, no way we had hard feelings. I definitely would have supported you, and I'd still support you at a later date. No worries. Everyone makes little mistakes. =) The fact that you were open about it afterwards & disclosed all information is key. нмŵוτнτ 19:53, 23 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hello Hmwith! change

I was surfing around Simple Wikipedia and I saw your page. I liked it and decided to use the idea on my own page. I'm don't know much about you, but I thank you for your ideas. Cheers, AmericanEagle 23:41, 23 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
