Yes, that's right. First comes the content, then comes a sequence of edits which make the language clearer, and the text more readable. There is a limit to what one can do on WP: the software is very limited compared to proper typography software. Therefore, what can be done with the software at hand is invent ways of getting close to what is done with proper typographic software. Infobox case

Yes, the changes have aligned it more to the version on En wiki. You probably have to expect that on such a short page. Infoboxes do tend to be copies of En versions. It makes for simplicity when we have hundreds of pages where the En version may get updated. Then usually D.J. Sasso moves the new infobox over. Occasionally we have built a different infobox, but that takes quite a lot of work. Everyone has to find out what suits them best. In principle, anyone can edit any kind of article. However it is best to edit on subjects one knows about. Correcting info

Hey - I noticed you put cats onto an article that has been put into QD but IP users kept removing the QD tag. Some of these articles were all brought over at once and right at the top, before it was even hit with a QD for copyright from en-wiki they added {{wait}}. You need to study the concept of "notability". It is not your place to say things based on your opinion. What is needed is the opinion of a disinterested expert third party. That you may use to support claims. A link to the third party's source material (where it is posted) helps us judge its suitability as an independent source. A general point on readability: keep the left range as it helps the reading of the text (which is the primary concern). Range photos right in general because that does not break the range left. Eye movement flicks back to the range left position. That is why pages are printed with the text aligned left. And to cover all such changes with one idea: whatever helps the reader is better than what does not help the reader. Macdonald-ross (talk) 10:52, 20 June 2021 (UTC)

I'll say it here. First, I'm happy to let Ep decide promotions or demotions, especially on pages where I have commented.

A minor point: On Neptune I see there is a "note". Personally, I don't ever do this because they are so often too technical to be copied, and an evasion of our principle of making the text accessible. I suspect they are not read much.

Anyway, the note contains the term "barycenter", which just illustrates how far these notes are from our readers. A barycenter is the "center of mass where two or more planets orbit each other". Personally, I would cut the note.

Hi @Macdonald-ross thanks for your action on the page List of YouTubers as there must be some errors thus you felt like deleting it, I wanted to know as the page do have the potential to get recreated byt I am willing to create the names mentioned in it first and as i am from India i will start with Indian Youtubers, and slowly will cover all the redlinks from the list of all the notable youtubers, My question is this that once I am done with creating pages of youtubers from the list will List of YouTubers be eligible to be recreated? will doing so be simplifying the page more? Tavistock Square deletion

Hi there, sorry to bother you but I saw the article Tavistock Square was QDed recently. I'm unsure how it fit such criteria for deletion, from what I remember (and if my memory fails me, I apologise in advance) the article was rather simplified in the lead and the first area, however the second area about buildings might not have been fully simplified. It was deleted because it was an unsimplified copy of the En wiki page. All pages here must use simple language which is suitable for children and English as a foreign language speakers. If you go over it with a toothcomb and make sure the expression is simple, then the page will be accepted. (If we wanted copies what would be the point of the wiki?)
