WelcomeHello, Microchip08, and welcome to the Simple English Wikipedia! I hope you will be happy helping here. You should begin by reading these pages: Wikipedia:Useful, Help:Contents, Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines, and how to write Simple English articles. If you want some ideas of which pages to work on, read Wikipedia:Requested articles or the list of wanted pages. Even though it is a good idea to research an article (like looking at the discussion page) before making large changes, please be bold and try! Any changes you make that are not perfect can be fixed later. We are also working most on core articles and the most common topics until this Wikipedia grows. If you want to ask a question or talk with other members, you can visit our version of the "village pump" at Wikipedia:Simple talk. Administrators on Wikipedia can also help you with more difficult problems. You can also ask me for help. The best way to do that is to leave a message on my talk page. You should always sign your messages on Talk pages by typing "~~~~" (four tildes) at the end of your words. Good luck and happy editing! - BrownE34 talk contribs 14:39, 24 April 2007 (UTC) P.S. I'm not an admin, but I know we look for around 1,000 edits and/or around 3-4 months of activity to become an admin here. Good luck and have fun! - BrownE34 talk contribs 14:39, 24 April 2007 (UTC) B-ClassJust to let you know, we are not like the English Wikipedia. We do not have classes of articles. Also, I do not think that there is any need for any of the pages that you just created. We are a small Wikipedia, and I am almost completely sure that we are too small to have any kind of use for those pages. Cheers, Razorflame 14:52, 17 April 2008 (UTC) Please look at the article again. If you find, it's simple enough please take the tag complex out. If you find, it's still to complex please simplify or tell me what is too difficult. --Cethegus (talk) 16:21, 17 April 2008 (UTC) StonehengeNo harm in it, plus I added the ClassesThat link you keep posting saying why you thought we had classes links to user space page not a project page. Anything in the user space, ie: starts with "User:" is not official. Thanks, - EchoBravo contribs 18:35, 17 April 2008 (UTC) Done Microchip 08Sign! 18:41, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Creating articlesHey Microchip08, if you do create an article like Regent (which is cool!), can you try to add a category to it and add the inter-wiki links, usually best from the en-wiki? Cheers! The Rambling Man (talk) 20:31, 17 April 2008 (UTC) Cat redirectsPlease note that categories should not be redirected the normal way using #REDIRECT [[Category:Name]]. They must be redirected using {{catredirect|Category:Name}} instead.-- Lights talk 10:27, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
Proposed projectsThe general consensus on SE:WP is that all proposed wikiprojects need to be kept entirely in the userspace until such time that they are adopted by the general community. This practice is the accepted norm due to problems with projects being created and later abandoned when there is little or no interest other than the creator. Because of our small number of editors here and their wide range of interests in topics, it is very hard to get enough involvement is such projects. The restrictions on projects includes all templates and the marking of non-user pages. -- Creol(talk) 12:37, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
UserboxesPlease create userboxes in your namespace from now on. We have decided that userboxes should not be created in the template spaces as we are not a big enough Wikipedia to have userboxes in the template space. Cheers, Razorflame 15:06, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
Template:User status, Cheers Razorflame 15:12, 18 April 2008 (UTC) To tell you the truth, I would prefer you just add the category Category:Pages with excessive redlinks instead of this template. Cheers, Razorflame 15:31, 18 April 2008 (UTC) Edit summariesI wouldn't recommend using edit summaries with only faces in them. The purpose of edit summaries is to give a brief descreption of what you did when you changed the page, and a face usually doesn't tell anything about what you did. Cheers and have a nice day,-- Lights talk 18:11, 18 April 2008 (UTC) NoI did copy it from the English, but I spent hours simplifying it. It wasn't just copied like it said. Don't delete it. User:CapyrainWhy did you welcome this user when this user has obviously been trying to make self-advertising pages about him/herself on this site on various IP addresses' userpages? Usually, when we welcome a user, we want to make sure that we are welcoming people who are going to be helpful editors, and not vandals. Thank you for at least trying to help out. Cheers, Razorflame 19:39, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
QD tagsPlease always use Google before claiming an article not notable. I think a band with 536.000 hits on google is quite notable. They are also signed with Nuclear Blast a quite large metal label. Please think before tagging^^. Thanks The life of brian (talk) 14:09, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
TagsI am kind of curious as to why you are tagging articles with no interwikis. Given that you have about 650 articles to go and they are already all tracked by the system with a report all their own (Special:WithoutInterwiki), it realy seems a waste of time to just tag them for a category as well as the special page. Also, with the image request tag, that one is going to be needed on (conservatively) 10k pages. Most of our pages are in need of images, it would be easier to tag the ones that have images. (The same would apply to red-links.. and exactly how many is too many?) -- Creol(talk) 14:50, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

Your AWB botThis difference would probably make an AWB bot work. However, you would have to remove all the other functions. I think that having a bot that adds the date to tags placed onto pages would be an excellent use for a bot.
