January 2021 change

We like and strongly encourage helpful changes to Wikipedia, but "Gender dysphoria" was directly copied and pasted from the main English Wikipedia. Please do not do that. Such articles are usually too complex. They need to be simplified before or immediately after being added to the Simple English Wikipedia. In addition, be sure to include attribution on the article's talk page. Thank you. Operator873talkconnect 00:18, 22 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

The only thing I copied was the Diagnosis section because I thought the information from the DSM-5 was simple and relevant enough. The rest of my changes were original, you did not have to revert everything I did. What do you mean by attribution on the talk page? Paradox Marvin (talk) 00:23, 22 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

(talk page stalker) you can put attribution on the talk page by doing {{translated page|en|ARTICLE NAME|version=123}} --Belwine💬📜 17:46, 27 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Thank you, did so on the antinatalism, schizoid pd, and gender dysphoria articles. Paradox Marvin (talk) 18:07, 27 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for adding attribution. However, go to the latest revision of the page that you copied from on en.wikipedia and copy the number after oldid, let's say it's 683 and then do version=683. Thanks --Belwine💬📜 18:10, 27 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
Where is the oldid? Paradox Marvin (talk) 19:12, 27 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
When you're on en.wikipedia, press "View history" then go to the latest revision (or the revision you copied off, if it's not the most recent). After that, go to the URL bar and copy the number after ?oldid=. --Belwine💬📜 19:13, 27 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

User boxes change

Hello. You said you don't know how to put any other userboxes on your page, do you need any help with this? You can use my user page for some examples of userboxes --Belwine💬📜 21:23, 27 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I need help. I tried looking at Template Userbox, Template namespace, and Userboxes, yet it was very confusing. Paradox Marvin (talk) 21:42, 27 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Headers change

  • Hello, and thank you for your changes. Please note that we use "Other websites" instead of "External links"; and "Related pages" instead of "See also" for section headers here. Thanks, --IWI (talk) 23:44, 27 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

RfD nomination of Consistent life ethic change

An editor has requested deletion of Consistent life ethic, an article you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2021/Consistent life ethic and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. Eptalon (talk) 02:19, 28 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

Roomball change

Why can Roomball be on Wikipedia I though it was free Demons24 (talk) 04:03, 1 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

It isn't notable, which means it doesn't have enough good information about it online. This is an encyclopedia, so it means that it should be treated as such. If we just had random stuff, it would be a pretty bad encyclopedia. See Wikipedia:Notability for further explanation. Paradox Marvin (talk) 04:08, 1 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
Noting here that Demons24 has created accounts and articles in the past about this. Derpdart56 (talk) 16:00, 1 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Twinkle change

Hi, I saw you marked an article a QD:G1 but if you use twinkle then you can easily tag any article to anything as per your choice. SEE WP:TW for more info.DJRC (talk) 15:39, 4 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thank you! Paradox Marvin (talk) 16:07, 4 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Adding maintenance templates change

Hello, Paradox Marvin. I noticed that you added some maintenance templates with the parameter "date=Jan 2021". In maintenance templates, the name of the month should be spelled out completely. Please be sure to do that when you add these template. Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 00:15, 9 February 2021 (UTC)Reply

Oh okay, thanks! Paradox Marvin (talk) 15:07, 9 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
