Quick deletion of Six Flags change

The page you wrote, Six Flags, has been selected for quick deletion. If you think this page should be kept, please add {{wait}} below the line {{QD}} and say why on the talk page. If the page is already gone, but you think this was an error, you can ask for it to be undeleted. You can find more information about the reason here. Rus793 (talk) 12:26, 22 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

June 2014 change

We like and strongly encourage helpful changes to Wikipedia, but an article you created was directly copied and pasted from the main English Wikipedia. Please do not do that. Such articles are usually too complex. They need to be simplified before or immediately after being added to the Simple English Wikipedia. Thank you. Rus793 (talk) 12:44, 22 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Maintenance tags change

Hi Paul. When you add source citations to an article, either as part the text copied from enwiki articles or citations you research, it's perfectly OK for you to remove the 'no sources tag'. Most other maintenance tags can also be removed if you clear the problem first. The exceptions are QD (Quick Delete) and RfD (Request for Deletion) tags. Thanks. Template:Infobox roller coaster change

It looks like you're a big roller coaster fan! I have to say I'm not -- the last time I rode a roller coaster, my knees buckled when I got off of it!

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I changed this template. I took out the code for most of the categories, because I don't think we need the detail here. The only categories I left were the one for coasters without coordinates, and the ones for hybrid, steel, and wooden coasters. I also imported the doc page for the template, and I will remove the parts that talk about the categories that I took out. Feel free to ask if you have questions about this. --Auntof6 (talk) 04:36, 9 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Yeah, I am definitely a big fan of roller coasters. Thank you for changing the template. When I first created the page, I couldn't see anything at all, but now it shows the information needed about the template. You're a big help! Paul Badillo (talk) 05:54, 9 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

August 2014 change

Hello, Paul Badillo. It looks like "Voice-tracking" was derived from the English Wikipedia or another version of Wikipedia. If that is indeed the case, please make sure you add some form of attribution, either in your change summary or on the article's talk page. This must be done, even for derivative works, or the article will be deleted in time. More instructions on how to do this are at Wikipedia:Transwiki attribution. Attribution protects you as well as Wikipedia. You need to add attribution to each article you either bring over or have brought over from another wiki even if you simplified it. Thanks Rus793 (talk) 11:45, 25 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Template:Infobox dual roller coaster change

Hello, Paul. I see that you created this template on August 11, but that it is not being used. We usually don't keep unused templates around for very long. Can you add the template to some articles pretty soon to keep it from being proposed for deletion? Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 01:15, 30 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

I do plan to create an article using the template in the next few days. I might also add it to any articles that can use it. Paul Badillo (talk) 05:54, 30 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Taylor Swift outdated? change

Would you give an indication of what needs to be updated? The usual way is to put something on the article's talk page explaining what's out of date. Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 10:02, 15 November 2014 (UTC)Reply

Billboard-related templates change

Hi, Paul. I noticed that you created a lot of templates with "Billboard" in their names. Will these templates be used? I checked a couple, and nothing was using them. If they are not going to be used, then they don't need to be created. Please let me know what your plans are for these. Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 00:09, 13 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

I'm creating these templates because I wanted to make sure that there no error messages are present whenever {{singlechart}} is used. According to the English Wikipedia version of the template, the artistid parameter is no longer required because the template has been updated since the Billboard website has changed. On the Simple English version however, the template seems to be outdated and still displays the old Billboard URLs when those are supposed to be updated already. I tried using the template on Fancy (song), but when I saw the References section of the page, I noticed error messages in red saying that the artist id is missing, but on the English Wikipedia it is no longer needed so i'm trying to change the {{singlechart}} template so that it matches the version on the English Wikipedia. OK, thanks. Eventually, can we make sure the main template and all subtemplates are properly categorized and included in Wikidata? I can help with that when you're ready. --Auntof6 (talk) 08:15, 13 January 2015 (UTC)Reply
Deal. Paul Badillo (talk) 00:58, 14 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

RfD nomination of Template:BillboardURL change

An editor has requested deletion of Template:BillboardURL, an article you created. We appreciate your changes, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article meets Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not").

Please comment on the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2022/Template:BillboardURL and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also change the article during the discussion to address the nominator's concerns. But you should not remove the requests for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you very much. Auntof6 (talk) 02:31, 20 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
