@Tushhar Chaudhary Just as on the main English Wikipedia, they need to meet the notability requirements first and that clearly isn't the case. Ravensfire (talk) 14:41, 9 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Why are you targetting pages for no reason? change

First you added quick deletion now, notability, before that you removed the whole section, whats wrong with you? You are not even experienced editor, the subject is highly notable, as he’s one of the biggest real estate developer, just keep yourself calm, article passes General notability so relax. I’m going to revert everything one more time. Tvactorcreator (talk) 20:05, 25 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Tvactorcreator, when an article is created, it will get reviewed. When you put out a VERY promotional article with several sources that don't mention the subject and others that are pretty clear paid articles, it will be edited. Collaboration is the model that wikipedia works on, you MUST work with other editors to improve the article. At this point, I think it's probably best to request the article be deleted as a non-notable businessman. Ravensfire (talk) 20:09, 25 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
I think you are on the wrong wikipedia, its simple english wikipedia things works differently here. Sources were added, I’m okay with collaboration but deliberately adding tags and deletion from IP & account is fishy. Stop it now. Tvactorcreator (talk) 20:16, 25 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hmmm. Humorous. Let's see, yup, on the correct website. The difference between the two sites is the language to be used in the articles. Similar notability requirements and sourcing requirements are on both sides. Likewise, how tags work and how they should be removed are the same on both sites. There are serious issues with the article - you put two sources that don't even mention the article subject! You used his own bio as a source for some fantastic marketing fluff, which has no business being in the article, let alone using the bio for anything other then basic facts. If this was the English wikipedia, this would be moved to draft space where you'd have the time to work on it. That doesn't exist here. Ravensfire (talk) 20:29, 25 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
Do your own home work first, google the subject and select the news section, all sources in the name of subject clearly with his notability. You removed the major sources I will add them tomorrow. With more better narration under NPOV Tvactorcreator (talk) 20:34, 25 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
Dear Ravenfire you had deleted many contents written by me. I am blocked but I have to write some very important changes and additions urgently. I can take UN permission to do so if Wikipedia doesn't unblock me or may hire a medical lawyer if needed. Can you please take a responsibility of deleting contents without any valid reason ? I hope you will understand the cost of life that people loses every year due to killer culture of medical practices. If you want money then Ivam ready to pay but bring my all writen words back immediately. I will not be able to write if I don't write if I fail to avail some life saving medicines which are drug by default and my body at present is drastically draining towards death due to ignorance by doctors and famiiy. Doctors have blocked me and my family persons aren't taking care of me. I can die if I didn't write and provide further to begg for needed medicine . Once again I am begging for life. I have no one around me who could help instead everyone around me provoke for suicide. I am suffering more after Wikipedia blocked me. I offer you as much as mobey to give that you would ask as bribe though I will declare it to law as I never went against law I am going to talk with districts session court today at around 12 pm ( IST ) but only if I have something for showing. Once I am recoverd I will not rely on mother for food and make at own as per suggested diet. I know believing in me will be not possible for you but it's usual because not everyone can afford to trust me. It's highest in ROI and highest in risk as well. I hope you will put those deleted contents right now in my talk page. 2409:4081:AD9B:B4C0:0:0:CC8A:8D13 (talk) 01:44, 6 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

For cases when it's pretty clear, the Quick Delete process works well. That's what I used on the Rana Khattar‎ page by adding the {{qd}} template, along with the reason code. If the quick delete criteria doesn't apply, you should follow the directions at WP:RFD and start a request for deletion which invites comments from more editors and is open for a longer time. Request for Quick Deletion - Need for Clarification change

@Ravensfire

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to request the quick deletion of the article Parvati Kurakula that I recently submitted. I understand that it may seem unusual to request deletion, especially considering the mention of verified and independent sources regarding notability. However, I would like to clarify the reasons behind this request.

While there are indeed verified and independent sources that establish the notability of the Parvati Kurakula, there are some concerns that have come to my attention that require addressing before the article is made public.

1. Incomplete Content: Upon reviewing the article, I noticed that it lacks critical information, and there are factual inaccuracies that need to be rectified. It's essential that the article provides a comprehensive and accurate representation of the subject's notability.

2. Formatting Issues: The article's formatting does not adhere to the guidelines and standards set by Simple Wikipedia. It is crucial that the content is presented in a clear and straightforward manner to make it accessible to a wide audience.

3. Neutrality:

Neutrality: There are elements within the article that may appear promotional or biased. I believe that it's important to present a balanced and neutral perspective, as per Simple Wikipedia's guidelines.

To ensure that the article meets the standards of Simple Wikipedia and accurately represents the subject's notability, I kindly request that it be temporarily removed from public view. I intend to work on these issues and resubmit a revised version that complies with all the guidelines.

I appreciate your understanding in this matter and apologize for any inconvenience caused. I am committed to ensuring that the article meets the high standards set by Simple Wikipedia and contributes positively to the platform.

Please let me know if you require any further information or clarification. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely

सीमा कश्यप (talk) 15:26, 15 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Please don't use ChatGPT to communicate. Please don't use chatGPT to communicate, it adds WAY too much extra fluff and makes the actual point you are trying to make difficult to determine. To be blunt, the article was deleted on EN Wikipedia because the person isn't notable. The same problem exists here - there aren't secondary reliable sources with significant coverage of this person. Interviews don't help for notability. Bio pages for organizations they work for / represent don't help for notability. Ravensfire (talk) 15:55, 15 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Reconsideration of iCareBilling Wikipedia Page Deletion: A Discussion on Credibility and Reliability change

Hello Ravensfire,

I'd like to engage in a meaningful discussion about the recent decision to reject the iCareBilling Wikipedia page and request its swift deletion. It's essential to address the concerns that have been raised by fellow editors and ensure that Wikipedia remains a reliable and comprehensive source of information.

Regarding Forbes Advisor: iCareBilling's inclusion on Forbes Advisor is a noteworthy achievement. The page's disclaimer clearly states, "Editorial Note: We earn a commission from partner links on Forbes Advisor. Commissions do not affect our editors' opinions or evaluations." This disclosure highlights the organic nature of iCareBilling's presence on Forbes Advisor. Among the listed companies, some have opted for paid promotions to secure dedicated pages for lead capture, such as RXNT, Kareo, and DrChrono. In contrast, Charmhealth, Elationhealth, Benchmark Systems, ScriptSure, iCareBilling, and AthenaOne have not made such payments to Forbes Advisor. Official confirmation from Forbes.com can be provided as evidence that iCareBilling's listing is genuinely organic and deserves recognition.

Regarding Pitchbook and CB-Insight: CB-Insight and PitchBook both companies are the trusted source for in-depth analysis of private companies, provides valuable insights to investment banks and investors. The detailed analysis it offers on company formation, profitability, ownership, and financing status, along with cross comparisons with competitors, is a testament to the credibility of the information available on iCareBilling. This level of analysis cannot be achieved through paid promotional means; it relies on rigorous verification and serves the exclusive purpose of assisting investors and market analysis.

Similarly, the other sources cited are not user-generated or created for SEO purposes. It's important to distinguish between genuine, informative content and content created solely for SEO purposes. The "Award and Recognition" section is entirely based on the company's performance and market analysis, unrelated to any financial transactions for promotion. Additionally, the links to government resources for company foundation and incorporation are inherently reliable sources in the eyes of Wikipedia.

In conclusion, we kindly request a reconsideration of the decision to delete the iCareBilling Wikipedia page. The inclusion of information from reputable sources like Forbes Advisor and PitchBook, CB-Insight significantly contributes to the completeness and reliability of Wikipedia's content.

I respectfully ask you to revisit your decision, and if possible, reconsider the quick deletion request.

Thank you for dedicating your time and consideration to this matter. Your decision can help maintain the integrity of Wikipedia's content and its commitment to accurate information. Johnaustin2500 (talk) 01:21, 8 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

I think your discussion on Kuru's talk page on the English Wikipedia a few weeks ago is really good advice, especially around the need for solid, independent sources. As you're more likely to get advice and feedback on the English wikipedia, my suggestion would be to work on the draft there. If it's accepted, then port it over here and simplify the language at that time. Ravensfire (talk) 02:08, 28 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Don't block IPs, you might cause collateral damage. Additionally I have been targeted by the "notability" or [[Fame Police]] for almost six years since I made a studio music Album with Brian T. Gibbs of Skyline Entertainment and Publishing. 73.222.77.165 (talk) 19:55, 10 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Fortunately, I can't block anyone as I'm not an admin. There aren't any Fame Police here, not notability police, just editors that enforce the notability guidelines and don't allow this site to be used for clear promotional fluff pieces. You made an album - congrats! That's not enough to meet Wikipedia's notability requirements for musicians. WP:MUSIC is the relevant guidelines here that need to be met, and that's just not there. I realize that you believe that you are notable and have met the criteria, but you need to recognize that everyone else who has commented on this has disagreed. Hey - the comment you just posted was uncalled for. Please do not egg an editor on or call any threats “empty” as you did. That violates WP:Civility as you are directly attacking an editor. Does not matter if they are an editor in good standing or evading a block/lock. When you feed into this, you can make the situation worse and make yourself a target. I recommend reading WP:Do not insult the vandals. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 19:03, 23 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

I'll politely disagree with about it. It's a blunt warning about a couple of policies they are violating. I hear you and get your meaning, but disagree with it. Ravensfire (talk) 19:06, 23 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
I would also disagree with the characterization of that editor as a vandal. They are not. A single-purpose account, sure. An undeclared paid editor, quite clearly. A vandal, nope. A disruptive editor, absolutely. But not a vandal. Ravensfire (talk) 19:09, 23 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Vandalism covers many aspects on Wikipedia. Disruptive is only a small fraction but calling them out like that and attacking them as an editor is a violation of WP:Civil one of the 5 pillars of Wikipedia. Thanks - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 19:11, 23 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Saurabh Sudam Tamhane (change · talk · history · links · watch · logs · delete)

@Ravensfire Can you please understand me? Why are you deleting saurabh sudam tamhane page? There is nothing wrong with this. Saurabh is an actor. I am their page manager. Please tell me what is the problem. Thank you. Contactsaurabhtamhane (talk) 16:31, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Several major problems. First, there's a complete lack of good reliable sources - sources that are independent of the article subject, that are focused on the subject and have indepth coverage of the subject. No blogs, interviews, forum posts, paid-for articles - good sources. Second, the person does not meet the WP:GNG or WP:NACTOR criteria for notability. Finally, the article is written in an incredibly promotional tone. Wikipedia is not the place for you to promote your client (and read w:WP:PAID which you pretty clearly qualify), and it's not a place where everyone should have an article. These aren't minor issues, these are all reasons why articles are quickly deleted on a regular basis. Ravensfire (talk) 16:35, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Ravensfire You are absolutely right. So what do I do about it now? Because we want to make that article live. I am saurabh's manager. We manage all their accounts. If there aren't good sources to show they are notable right now, the right answer is to wait. Not the answer you want, but Wikipedia made the decision long ago not to have every possible person included, but only notable people that meet certain criteria. We demand that good sources are used, not the self-publishing scraper sites, blogs or similar self-published sites. Wikipedia is not the place to promote someone and shouldn't be used that way. So my advice is to wait, let their career develop and for them to get major, significant roles and the coverage that comes from that notoriety. Ravensfire (talk) 16:54, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Ravensfire ok i wait But there was a request that you don't delete this page. I will submit Saurabh's source to you in a few days. Hope you can help me. thank you Contactsaurabhtamhane (talk) 16:57, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
I suggest you work on the page someplace in under your user page, User:Contactsaurabhtamhane/Saurabh Sudam Tamhane for example. I can help review the page, but you MUST get the sources, and I did a google search when I first tagged for quick deletion, and I can't find the sources needed for notability. Having these sources aren't something that's optional, this is how notability is demonstrated and everything in the article needs to be based on sources. When a reader wants to verify something in the article, those sources are what they use to check. Ravensfire (talk) 17:12, 27 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Article non deletion request change

@Ravensfire I was talking to a different moderator regarding this page deletion so according to his suggestions i made the article from a neutral point of view and made some changes to it. What are the changes you are suggesting now to avoid deletion of the page. Ashvik08122023 (talk) 18:01, 15 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Ashvik08122023, before I nominated the article, I looked through the history of the draft on the english Wikipedia and did my own searching for sources WP:BEFORE. I didn't find enough to support how this person meets the WP:CREATIVE criteria for notability. What's needed are more sources that are truly independent of the person and provide significant coverage of the person. The one article is borderline at best, as it's really a promotional piece for an appearance. It's better than nothing, but it really needs several good sources. That's what is triggering the declines on your draft on en, and I would suggest that is where you focus your efforts rather than trying to split your time. Ravensfire (talk) 18:06, 15 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Ravensfire There are more sources about this subject as it was published in late 90's and early 2000's it is not found online. But i have the article title, year and publication date. Also i included online links because that would be much simpler for any moderator to review the topic. Ashvik08122023 (talk) 18:15, 15 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
The RfD process is due to close in about a week, so you've got time to improve the article, but it's not unlimited time. Ravensfire (talk) 18:35, 15 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Ravensfire, I have made some changes by adding couple of sources. Could you please let me know whether that is ok. Also can you please let me know which sources are not reliable. Ashvik08122023 (talk) 18:48, 15 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Have you tried to find links to those articles via the ToI archives, or an archive website? Please note that ToI can be a questionable source (w:WP:NEWSORGINDIA) so having access to the articles is very much needed. I also note that was a source you removed from the en draft. Ravensfire (talk) 19:10, 15 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Ravensfire I have access to the articles. I have a physical copy of the newspapers which is not available online since it is old that too from 'The Times of India' and other reliable sources. • BRD is not a valid excuse for reverting good-faith efforts to improve a page simply because you don't like the changes.
  • BRD is never a reason for reverting. Unless the reversion is supported by policies, guidelines or common sense, the reversion is not part of BRD cycle.

You don't get the option of telling anyone to NOT edit/revert a page. If you think someone is acting in bad faith, you can go to the proper channels. Unless something is in your userspace, they can revert your edits, and it's at that point it's time to talk. Regardless of edits being in good faith, it doesn't make them un-revertable. @Lee Vilenski I am not going to feed into the behavior of this editor. I am letting it go and I will never post to this editors page again. Thank you and thank @Kk.urban. Thanks, and be well! - PDLTalk to me!Please don't eat da 🐑! 17:36, 6 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
1. I politely asked you to not post on my talk page. I did not demand or require, it was a request. That is absolutely allowed.
2. I removed your post, with the comment that I had asked you not to post on my talk page. That is absolutely allowed, I can remove / archive posts on my talk page in most cases.
3. You reverted a sockpuppets edits, which I have no problems with and have far more experience than you with handling sock edits. I reverted your edit because the sock made a useful edit that improved the page. By doing so, that edit becomes mine and I take responsibility for that edit.
4. Absent an interaction ban, I do not accept your request to not revert your edits. I rarely do, so this would rarely happen.
5. This interaction shows why I made the request I did, you are, in my view, a difficult person to interact with.
This section will be collapsed later today, but will be left open for any other edit to comment until then. Thank you. Ravensfire (talk) 19:06, 6 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Miam Charitable Trust change

Miam Charitable TrustAfter deleting many sources now you see this article once and please keep it if you can see Karan is an NPO..@Ravensfire 2405:201:25:8A54:BDAC:3C5A:E03E:AD62 (talk) 09:06, 7 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Nobody is questioning if this is a non-profit, only if it is a notable non-profit. The sources given don't show how it meets the General Notability Guideline. Many of the sources were press releases or sponsored articles, those aren't considered reliable source for Wikipedia articles. I've reviewed it, did my own searching and came to my view that this group just doesn't meet the notability criteria. Ravensfire (talk) 13:39, 7 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
