David Angell

American screenwriter and television producer (1946-2001)

David Lawrence Angell (April 10, 1946 – September 11, 2001) was an American producer for television shows. He was mostly known for his production work on Frasier, Cheers, and Wings. He was friends with actor Kelsey Grammer.

He was born in Barrington, Rhode Island. He was married to Lynn Edwards from 1971 until their deaths in 2001. Angell died in the North Tower on September 11, 2001 after the hjack of American Airlines Flight 11 along with his wife of thirty years, Lynn Angell.[1] Their names are on the National 9/11 Memorial.
