Quick deletion

QD should be chosen in preference to RFD whenever possible. Adult animation and Playpen would both be suitable for QD, IMO. RfD is only for those which require discussion. Macdonald-ross (talk) 21:19, 4 June 2014 (UTC)

I agree that QD is better than RFD when appropriate. However, if the reason for requesting deletion is that a page is a dicdef, it needs to go to RFD, because that is not one of the approved QD options. I have just declined quite a few QDs because of that. --Auntof6 (talk) 22:59, 6 June 2014 (UTC)

Tampering with the title?

Please stop making unhelpful edits

I see that you made a lot of edits changing stub tags that didn't change the stub categorizing. An example is this edit, where all you did was change {{Television-stub}} to {{Tv-stub}}. These edits are not helpful to the project. Please don't do that kind of mass change. There is nothing wrong with using templates that redirect to another template. Stub sorting: please be accurate

I noticed that you marked the following pages as medical stubs:

• Calcaneus
• Cardiac arrhythmia
• Sudden cardiac death

These are actually biology stubs. It can be tricky to determine the difference, because the field of medicine deals with a lot of biological things. One way to tell is to ask yourself this: would the topic of the article exist or happen if there were no such thing as the field of medicine? In these cases, the answer is yes: people would still have bones and would still have heart problems. That's what makes these biology stubs instead of medical stubs. Some things that would not exist without the field of medicine are doctors, surgery, and most modern drugs.

If you're going to do stub sorting, be accurate. It's better to leave an article in the general stub category than to put it into an incorrect category. Thanks. --Auntof6 (talk) 16:21, 30 March 2015 (UTC)

It's better...

Considering the efforts you place in finding pages to tag for 'No category', wouldn't you like to find more constructive things to do here? We have a wide variety of things you can help with; disruptive tagging just isn't one of them. • I checked the "View history" tab. The only changes made to this article from this IP address was to add a stub tag and an uncat tag, nothing else. Looking at the "Template:Uncat" page, it would appear that it is intended to be placed on article that have not been added to any categories. The only pages I have placed the uncat tag on are articles that haven't been placed into any categories. It would seem that I have used this tag only for its intended purpose and for no other use. If using this tag is really such a problem as you would make it seem to be, then the most obvious solution would seem to be for you to nominate both this tag and "Category:Category needed" for deletion. 64.6.124.31 (talk) 16:00, 29 July 2015 (UTC)

Not excessively no, if you can reasonably add a page to a category then you need to do that instead. If it is one that you cannot figure out a category for the page to belong in then yes you would be able to use it. In other words like many other "tagging" related things we have told you about before. We look down extremely on people who do drive by tagging instead of fixing the issues. And being that you have been told about it, if you continued doing it, yes the community might consider that disruptive editing and could decide to have you blocked. And since you are blocked on en, that could happen without a warning per the one strike policy. -DJSasso (talk) 18:58, 14 August 2015 (UTC)
