Älvsborg County

county in Sweden between 1634 and 1997

Älvsborg County (Swedish: Älvsborgs län) was a county in southern Sweden, with the seat in Vänersborg. It was established in 1634, and disestablished on 31 December 1997, following the establishment of Västra Götaland County.
