1949–50 Austrian football championship

The 1949–50 Austrian football championship (Staatsliga A) was organized by the ÖFB. It was the first season where teams from all federal states were allowed to play. A total of six different leagues served as a substructure to the State League A, which were connected via a comprehensive relegation round.
